'Anne of Green Gables' coming to Children's Theatre of Western Springs

Western Springs, IL - The Theatre of Western Springs and the Children’s Theatre of Western Springs present Lucy Maud Montgomery’s beloved classic “Anne of Green Gables.”

“It’s delightful when your imaginations come true, isn’t it?” And just as Anne might have wished, the story of all of her trials and tribulations will come to life not just in your imagination, but right on the stage. From her friendship with Diana to her squabbles with Gilbert, Anne and all of her foibles will delight audiences who grew to love her in L.M. Montgomery’s books and those who are meeting her for the first time.

“Anne of Green Gables” will be performed at the Theatre of Western Springs, 4384 Hampton Ave., Western Springs.

Performances of “Anne of Green Gables” will take place:

• 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 4 & 11
• 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5 & 12
• 4 p.m. Saturday, March 5 & 12
• 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6 & 13

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students 18 years old and younger. Group rates and overnighters are available. Reservations are recommended. All performances take place at the Theatre of Western Springs, 4384 Hampton Avenue, Western Springs, IL. Free parking is available.
