Cars Broken Into In La Grange Neighborhood: Police
The targeted cars were unlocked, authorities said. A wallet was stolen.

LA GRANGE, IL – Unlocked cars were reported broken into late last month in a La Grange neighborhood, police said.
A wallet and loose change were stolen, and cars were ransacked, with the break-ins taking place between 3:50 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Oct. 24, police said.
The burglaries took place in the 200, 600, 700 and 900 blocks of Seventh Avenue; the 300, 500 and 800 blocks of Eighth Avenue; and the 200, 600 and 700 blocks of Ninth Avenue, police said.

- Someone tampered with a construction trailer near East 47th Street and Bluff Avenue. The crime was reported Oct. 20.
- A 29-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 2 p.m. Oct. 28 in the 100 block of Sawyer Avenue on a charge of criminal property damage.
