Chinese Restaurant Planned For La Grange
Its other location is in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood.
LA GRANGE, IL – La Mom Kitchen, which has a restaurant in Chicago, plans a second location in La Grange.
On Monday, the village's Liquor Commission recommended a liquor license for the Chinese restaurant. The Village Board is expected to vote on the matter later this month.
"It's exciting news," Village President Mark Kuchler said at Monday's Village Board meeting.

The local restaurant is planned for 19 W. Calendar Ave., between Aodake Ramen and Pazzo Bene restaurant. La Mom is affiliated with Aodake, Kuchler said.

It is unclear when the restaurant will open. Its Facebook page does not say.
The other La Mom is at 3312 S. Halsted St., which is in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood.
La Mom offers traditional and new Szechuan and Shanghai dishes, according to the restaurant's website. It also features Guilin-style rice noodles and American Chinese cuisine.
Nan Luo and Yan Lan Liu would be the store managers, according to village records. Tony Wang and Wei Zhou Li are the partners.
