LA GRANGE, IL – The congressman who represents many western Chicago suburbs is holding a town hall next week in La Grange.
U.S. Sean Casten, a Downers Grove Democrat, plans the event for 7 p.m. next Wednesday at La Grange Village Hall, 53 S. La Grange Road. Doors open a half hour earlier.
This time, however, Casten has a restriction: Attendees must RSVP beforehand to attend the meeting in a public building.

Since 2023, Casten has been shouted down at town halls by opponents of U.S. policy on Israel. Such face-offs have occurred in Darien and Downers Grove, among other towns.
