Crusaders for Teddy Helps Offset Medical Bills for Local Man

Friends and family of a La Grange Highlands man are raising money to offset his medical expenses, The Doings La Grange reports.
Ted Kowalski, 69, was diagnosed with myelodysplasic syndrome last year and requires frequent blood and platelet transfusions. Medical bills are piling up, and the community has set up a “Crusaders for Teddy” fund at an area bank for donations, the paper reports.
