State Police shut down eastbound lanes of I-290 Monday afternoon during rush-hour after a dead body was found in the grassy median near Wolf road close to Hillside. Traffic was diverted off at the Mannheim Road exit until just before 6 p.m. and the delays are lengthy. The person may have been struck by a vehicle early this morning. The body was not discovered until the afternoon.
