Election 2013 Candidate: Becky S. Spratford

I am running for Library Trustee because: “I have dedicated my life to public libraries.  I work at the Berwyn Public Library, teach aspiring librarians at Dominican University, and write library textbooks and blogs. I love LaGrange and am involved with many community activities. I am excited to devote another four years to helping make LaGrange a wonderful place to live.”

Community Service: La Grange Library Board Trustee, 2000-present (served six years as vice president and president); annual Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation Ball planning committee member for many years.
 
Professional Experience: Earned Masters Degree with honors in Library and 
Information Science from Dominican University; American Library Association 
member; Public Library Association member; Illinois Library Association member; Horror Writers Association member; Adult Reading Roundtable steering committee member.

La Grange Resident: 15 years, married with two children.
