Find a Cooling Station

With power out and the temperature up, village officials are asking residents to check on neighbors.

With temperatures in the high 80s today and with many residents of La Grange and La Grange Park still without power, officials from both villages are asking for resident's help.

In separate newsletters, village officials asked that residents lend a hand by checking up on neighbors without power—especially older residents for whom the high temperatures can be especially dangerous.

In addition, both La Grange and La Grange Park have set up special cooling centers. Residents can go to the Village Hall in La Grange Park 24 hours a day to get out of the heat. La Grange officials are telling residents to go to La Grange Memorial Hospital for a cooling center set up there.
