Fire On Brainard Ave; Officials Say 'We're Going To Be Busy'
La Grange Fire Department responded to a call of a fire at around 10 a.m. Thursday morning on the 1000 block of South Brainard Avenue.

LA GRANGE, IL — The La Grange Fire Department responded to a call of a fire in the 1000 block of South Brainard Avenue on Thursday morning.
Officials responded to a "box alarm" call at around 10:18 a.m., which is activated from a place of public assembly like a nursing home, hospital, theater or government building. The standard response for that type of alarm is four engines, two trucks and one fire chief.
Fire officials said they could not comment on the incident on the phone Thursday morning, but said many fire department resources are in the area and they are "going to be busy."
