Greek Restaurant Planned In La Grange
An old burger eatery appears to be connected to the new restaurant.
LA GRANGE, IL – Mána, a Greek restaurant, is set to open soon in downtown La Grange, saying it will offer a "rich culinary heritage of the Mediterranean with a contemporary, rustic flair."
It is set for 88 S. La Grange Road, which was the site of Monk's Burgers & More. The "soft opening" is this week, with July 8 tentatively set as the official opening day, a restaurant spokeswoman said.
In early April, Monk's closed after 13 years, saying it would open later in the year with a "fresh concept." The announcement was from the Kopley and Maglaris family.
