LA GRANGE, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

Steve has managed to keep his staff employed by raising donations and sponsors to feed local first responders, essential healthcare workers and BEDS Plus, the local homeless shelter.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

BEDS Plus has issued a thank you to Palmer Place restaurant and Biergarten! Palmer Place owner Steve Palmer has personally delivered lunches to their clients staying at area motels. He has literally provided hundreds and hundreds of meals to the community during this pandemic.
