The High Cost of Prescription Drugs: a League of Women Voters Discussion

The League of Women Voters of the La Grange Area will sponsor a discussion on the high cost of prescription drugs.

The discussion is open to the public, and it will take place at 7 p.m. March 31 at the La Grange Park Public Library, 555 S. LaGrange Road, according to the league.

Thomas Gochenour, pharmacy manager at Rush Oak Park Hospital, will lead the discussion and outline the process of how a drug is researched and brought to market. He will also touch on the rising costs of generic drugs.
