Illinois Lottery Commercial Filming in La Grange Wednesday: We Have the Details and Street Closures

Several streets will be marked with 'no parking' signs and some may be completely closed off.

Filming for an Illinois Lottery commercial might disrupt traffic flow in La Grange this Wednesday.

Chicago-based production company Quriosity Productions will be filming scenes for the commercial all day, according to a release from the company. Streets will be marked with no parking signs and might be closed at certain times, and two roads will be shut down for short periods for special effects filming.

A stunt for the commercial will involve small controlled explosions and colored smoke, similar to firecrackers, the release states. Quriosity Productions said it will be working closely with the La Grange Fire Department to make sure everything goes over smoothly.
