Kids Meet Santa, Make Crafts at LT's Write Night

Lyons Township High School shared these photos with us of kids at their annual .

At Write Night, kids were able to write a letter to Santa Claus himself using the school's Discovery Center computers and get a response back. LT students pitched in too. Over 500 student volunteers helped out at the event painting faces, decorating cookies and providing musical entertainment.

The event was free, but participants were asked to bring in cans of food for donation. Over 20 boxes of food were collected and will be donated in name to two local food pantries as part of the school's ongoing food drive.
