La Grange Block Party Fight Brings Police
In another case, an argument turned physical at a La Grange restaurant, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – In recent days, La Grange police handled cases involving a block party fight, a bar brawl, domestic battery, vandalism, theft and fraud. Here is information from the latest La Grange police reports:
Block party fight
- An argument at a block party turned physical about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the 900 block of Seventh Avenue. A neighbor was cited on a charge of disorderly conduct.

- An argument at Milk Money Brewing, 75 S. La Grange Road, was moved outside and turned physical about 11 p.m. Sept. 18. Patio tables were damaged. No complaints were signed.
Domestic battery
- A 38-year-old La Grange man who lives in the 10 block of South Stone Avenue was arrested shortly before midnight Sept. 27 at his home on a domestic battery charge.

- Someone smashed a parked car's window between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 9 on Hillgrove Avenue between Catherine and Kensington avenues.
Theft
- A wallet was reported stolen Sept. 15 from a resident's room at Bella Terra La Grange nursing home, 4735 Willow Springs Road. A fraudulent purchase of more than $1,000 was made with a credit card in the wallet.
Fraud
- Chase Bank, 101 N. La Grange Road, reported Oct. 1 that a person's debit card was intercepted through the mail and $3,100 in fraudulent charges were made. An investigation continues.
