This Nationality's Ice Cream Coming To La Grange
The village has approved a design permit for the business.
LA GRANGE, IL – A Mexican-style ice cream shop is set to open in downtown La Grange.
La Michoacána Azteca is the new tenant at 15 S. La Grange Road.
On Monday, the La Grange Village Board approved a design review permit for the business to install ductwork extending from the roof to the rear side wall.

According to the shop's application, the ductwork will only have visibility from the alley and it would be "minimally intrusive" to the building's second-floor homes.
It's unclear when exactly the shop will open. Patch left a message with the business Tuesday.
