La Grange Homes Without Power Again After Storm
Another brief but powerful storm that hit the Chicago area early this morning has left many without power.
Once again, many residents of La Grange and La Grange Park have reported power outages in their homes today, following an early morning storm that broke branches and knocked out power.
In response, the villages of La Grange and La Grange Park will be doing special brush pick up this week. Residents are encouraged to take debris to the front curb of their homes for public works crews to pick up.
Approximately 156,000 are without power in Chicago's west region, accord to ComEd. 378 crews are out taking care of outage problems in the Chicago area, but due to how widespread the storm was, is reporting it make take several days to get everyones power back on. ComEd is also calling in crews from out of state to help restore power faster.

So far, there are no reports of anyone injured in La Grange or La Grange Park by the storm that blew through this morning, but many traffic lights are out including at intersections on 31st Street at Maple and at Forest avenues; on La Grange Road at Harding Avenue; at 47th Street and Plainfield Road; and on Ogden Avenue at Kensington and Brainard avenues.
