La Grange Man Accused Of Domestic Battery: Cops
In other cases, two La Grange residents were charged with DUI, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police on Friday released their first blotter to the media in more than a month. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- A 33-year-old La Grange man who lives in the 300 block of East Lincoln Avenue was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 12 on charges of domestic battery, criminal property damage and interference with the reporting of a domestic battery.

- A 48-year-old La Grange man who lives in the 800 block of 10th Avenue was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at Ogden and Deyo avenues on charges of DUI, improper lane use and speeding.
- A 48-year-old La Grange woman who lives in the 500 block of South La Grange Road was arrested about 2 a.m. on Christmas Day on East Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane use and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
- A 45-year-old Darien man was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Dec. 18 on East Hillgrove Avenue on charges of DUI (drugs), improper parking on the roadway and having no insurance.
Scam
- A resident in the 800 block of South La Grange Road was the victim of a phone scam and computer hack Nov. 25. The loss was $1,800.
Damage

- An overhead door was damaged and items were stolen from a loading area at 2 N. La Grange Road, which is where Walgreens is. The incident was reported Dec. 12.
Theft
- An unsecured ladder was reported stolen Dec. 16 from a property in the 100 block of Sawyer Avenue.
- Some items were reported stolen from a vendor Dec. 20 in the Jackson Square Mall, 112 E. Burlington. The items were valued at more than $500.
- A purse and its contents were reported stolen Jan. 2 from a room in a house in the 300 block of Ninth Avenue.
Argument
- An argument involved threats in the parking lot in the 10 block of West Ogden Avenue. The incident was reported Dec. 21.
Suspicious
- A homeowner in the 600 block of South Stone Avenue noticed a boot print on the garage door leading into the house on New Year's Eve. Nothing was reported missing.
Threat
- A private sale of property led to the so-called buyer threatening to post personal information online about the seller. The incident was reported Jan. 3. The investigation continues.
Porch piracy
- A package was reported stolen Jan. 3 from a public area at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue. The package was valued at $160.
