La Grange Park's Holiday in the Park

Looking for more holiday fun this weekend? Don't miss the La Grange Park Business Association's Holiday in the Park!

More holiday fun is on the way this weekend with La Grange Park's annual on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 1-4 p.m. at the , 1501 Barnsdale Rd.

Kids have a chance to meet Santa, stop by a petting zoo, create holiday crafts and a whole lot more.

"We have a lot of fun things going on that are very family focused," said Amy Goodman, treasurer for the . "This is an event where our businesses get to give back to the community for the support they give us all year."

Santa will arrive by fire truck at 1:15 p.m. to listen to children's Christmas wish lists and Fodeo will be sponsoring free photos with Santa. In addition, kids can take a hayride, stop by the petting zoo, decorate cookies and get their face painted.

Need to warm up? Just swing by the bonfire and roast some marshmallows, or watch the demonstration as they put out a burning tree and give some holiday safety tips.

The will also be sponsoring the day's entertainment with story times and music.
