La Grange Police Chief Wins Another Award
La Grange Police Chief Michael Holub 2012 is the recipient of the National Employment Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Public Affairs Volunteer of the Year.

Another round of congratulations are in order for La Grange's top cop.
Chief Michael Holub is the recipient of , this time of the National Employment Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Public Affairs Volunteer of the Year.
The award recognizes Holub's support and work to publicize and promote the activities of the ESGR’s over 150 volunteers throughout the state over the last year.

In a statement released with the announcement, Thomas Weitzel, president of the West Suburban Chiefs of Police Association said, “Chief Holub exhibits the qualities that make an excellent public affairs officer—intelligence, honesty, diligence, loyalty and transparency."
Holub is a past president of the West Suburban Chiefs of Police Association and currently serves on the association's executive board. He also received an award earlier this year in .
