La Grange Village Board OKs Fireworks, Alcohol Sales at Community Family Fest

For another year, the Village of La Grange Board of Trustees have given the green light for a fireworks display and the sale of alcohol at the park district's Community Family Fest. 

The fest is scheduled for July 29 at Gordon Park in La Grange and will include pony rides, games, food, drink and entertainment—which will again include fireworks.

The village also once again OK'd the park district's request to sell alcohol at the event, which patrons will be required to present a wristband to receive. Alcohol sales will be permitted between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.
