La Grange Woman Trespasses While Cop Watches: Police
She was suspected of throwing something at a restaurant worker.

LA GRANGE, IL – A La Grange woman who was issued a no-trespass order for a local restaurant showed up a few minutes later, police said. An officer followed her there.
The 67-year-old woman, who lives in the 7200 block of Flagg Creek Drive, was charged with criminal trespassing.
Patch obtained the police report through a public records request.

During the late afternoon of Oct. 3, officers were called to Mak's House restaurant, 46 S. La Grange Road, about an allegation that the woman threw something at an employee, police said.
The employee did not want to press battery charges, but the restaurant asked the police to issue a no-trespass notice to the woman. She had left before police showed up.

About a half hour later, the woman showed up, and police were called. She was at the east end of the bar when officers arrived, but refused to acknowledge an officer's presence at first, according to the report.
Outside, the officer informed the woman that the restaurant did not want her back and that she would be arrested if she returned. Agitated, the woman walked away, but the officer told her she was being detained and needed to speak with him about the Mak's House incident, police said.
She stopped less than a block from Mak's House, and the officer issued her the no-trespass notice. She crumpled it up and put it in her purse, police said.
After that, the officer followed the woman at a distance. She walked back to Mak's House and entered, police said.
She was arrested and refused to speak with the officer about the incident.
