LA GRANGE, IL — Marissa Kural, a Lyons Township High School graduate, is one of two Baldwin Wallace University women swimmers to be named All-Ohio Athletic Conference Co-Women's Swimmer of the Week. Baldwin Wallace is in Berea, Ohio.

Kural led Baldwin Wallace to a 148-31 victory over Buffalo State (N.Y.) University last week at the Arlington Park Aquatic Center in Sarasota, Fla., during its annual winter break training trip. Kural, who garners her first weekly accolade, captured the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:03.19 and tied for first in the 100-yard individual medley in a time of 1:06.22. For her career, Kural is an OAC and Academic All-OAC performer and holds one school record. Out of the pool, she is a dean's list student.

Baldwin Wallace University, founded in 1845, was one of the first colleges to admit students without regard to race or gender.
