Lyons Township Seniors Wow Plymouth Place Seniors ‘Gangnam style’
High school seniors mix and mingle with senior citizens to share dance moves, reports The Doings La Grange.

The 'gangnam style' dance craze has reached all ages, including the senior citizens at Plymouth Place Senior Living Center. High school seniors from Lyons Township visited the seniors on April 8 in LaGrange Park to share dance moves, musical talents and poetry, according to The Doings La Grange.
The senior citizens love to dance, according to the article, enjoying styles from from oompah bands at Oktoberfest to regular visits from the Starlighters Big Band.
LT senior Kyle Casillo of LaGrange Highlands was quoted by The Doings to say that hosting a dance party also appealed to students as part of a community outreach and service project. They reviewed a list of dances to teach or join in on.

“We looked at some and decided ‘Gangnam style’ would be more fun to teach than the Hokey Pokey or cha-cha,” Casillo said. “It’s definitely out there."
