LA GRANGE, IL – Facing possible rejection, the person seeking permission to set up a massage shop in downtown La Grange is asking for a delay.

On Tuesday, the La Grange Plan Commission was set to hear a request for a massage business at 15 S. La Grange Road.

At the beginning of the meeting, though, the village's planner, Kelsey Fawell, said the applicant, Pete Haleas, was seeking a delay until the commission's Sept. 12 meeting. She said the business wanted to address concerns in the village's staff report, which found the business out of character for the area.
