Men Sought Fight In Downtown La Grange: Cops
The suspects appeared to have a weapon, the victims told police.

LA GRANGE, IL – Two men who wanted some pizza in downtown La Grange instead encountered two others who wanted to fight, police said.
The incident was about 9:30 p.m. April 3 near the village's parking garage.
Patch obtained the police report through a public records request.

The 18-year-old victims told police they wanted to go to Nonna's GoodLife Pizza, 42 S. La Grange Road.
On Harris Avenue, two men in a car confronted them, asking if they wanted to fight, police said. The victims told officers they ignored them, continuing to walk.

The suspects then got out of their car, later identified as a 2019 white Chevrolet Trax SUV.
The passenger said, "I'm going to get it," digging in the glove box, police said.
The passenger then held his waistband as if he had something there, which the victims believed to be a weapon, possibly a gun, police said.
The suspects got in their car and sped away.
The victims declined to press charges and only wanted the incident documented, according to the report.
Police said they would try to identify the suspects.
