Metra Answers La Grange Parents' Request
A stop is being added to help with certain students' transportation to school, the agency said.

LA GRANGE, IL – A stop is being added to an outbound BNSF Line train to help students traveling from La Grange to Benet Academy in Lisle, Metra announced Tuesday.
Outbound BNSF Train No. 1205 is set to add a stop in La Grange at 6:41 a.m. and then run express to Downers Grove, Belmont, Lisle, Naperville, Route 59 and Aurora. The change is scheduled for Monday.
Metra said the change was made at the request of La Grange area parents, who asked whether Metra could provide a travel option for students. Metra and BNSF Railway determined the stop could be added without affecting other trains, Metra said.
