Missing: 13-Year-Old Brown Chihuahua Last Seen in La Grange

Other things to know today: A corny fundraiser for the LeaderShop and a teen production of "Rent" at the Theatre of Western Springs.

Bring this dog home: A 13-year-old male Chihuahua was last seen earlier this week near the intersection of Cossitt and Washington and La Grange. He’s wearing a red collar and a brown bandana with dogs on it, but no tags. From our boards: “Please alert neighbors and friends! This dog is 13 years old and should not be running around. Call or text 708-six 4 six 4 nine 1 two or email isan1270706@gmail.com if you have any information.”

Eat corn and help the LeaderShop: The LeaderShop of La Grange is hosting what just might be the tastiest fundraiser of the summer. Head over to its Corn Roast from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, 3801 Madison in Brookfield. There will be live music, along with games, face painting and a bounce house. Food and drink sales support the LeaderShop.

Everything is ‘Rent’: Put yourself in an East Village state of mind and check out the High School Repertory Company of the Children’s Theatre of Western Springs as they perform their production of Rent. The show runs 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15. Call 708-246-4043 or visit www.theatreofwesternsprings.com for more information.
