Nicor Workers Volunteer In La Grange Park
They planted 10 trees in a local park. It's part of the company's Volunteer Week.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL – Nicor Gas employees last week planted 10 trees at Memorial Park in La Grange Park with Chicago Region Trees Initiative during our 28th annual Volunteer Week.
Chicago Region Trees Initiative (CRTI) has more than 200 partners. It is the largest initiative of its kind in the country, with leading organizations and agencies from across the seven-county metropolitan region working together to build a healthier, more diverse and more equitably distributed regional forest. In total, 219 Nicor Gas employees participated in 17 volunteer events totaling 670 hours during this year’s volunteer week.
