Obituary: Longtime La Grange Resident, Mary Freitag, 92

Longtime La Grange Resident Mary Freitag passed away on Monday, Oct. 24 at Windsor Park in Carol Stream, IL. She was 92 years old.

Freitag was born on June 4, 1919. She grew up in Minier, IL and graduated from high school there. Freitag and her childhood sweetheart, William Freitag, were married and were active members at.

Freitag was a music enthusiast who enjoyed playing the piano to entertain her guests.

She is survived by two children, Dahla (the late William) Brown of West Chicago and Jeff Freitag of Lombard, two grandchildren, Justin and Brianna Freitag and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, two brothers, Carol "Carl" and Lyle, and her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., October 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Windsor Park,

Interment will be held in Minier Cemetery in Minier.
