Paintball Spree Strikes Catherine Avenue
The four paintball shootings took place over a three-block stretch, La Grange police said.
Four people reported paintball shootings Monday morning along South Catherine Avenue, La Grange police said.
The first two calls came between 8:05 and 8:20 a.m. from buildings in the 500 block of Catherine. Yellow paint marred the window of one building, while the marks had already been washed from the walls of another by the time the complainant called.
Two residents in the 800 block reported paintball marks a short time later. In one case, a home was struck. The other resident said paint hit his BMW. He told police the incident happened around 11:45 the previous night.

No permanent damage was done during any of the incidents.
