At the corner of Ogden and La Grange Road, the bank plans a 5,300-square-foot building.

"New parking and landscaping will be implemented to improve the aesthetics of the area," architect Timothy Meseck said in a July letter to the village.

The total number of employees at any one time, Meseck said, will be 16 – nine bankers, three tellers, a branch manager, a mortgage loan officer, a financial adviser and a business banker.

The village has indicated the bank is set to improve its building at 14 S. La Grange Road.

According to village documents, the bank plans to renovate the building to make way for commercial tenants on the first floor and seven apartments or condos on the second floor.

Chase Bank has declined to specifically comment on its local plans.

The village's Plan Commission plans to review the bank's proposals at its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at Village Hall.
