‘She Is Your Friend’: La Grange Teacher Shout-Out

LA GRANGE, IL — Great teachers matter. In La Grange, we're fortunate to have teachers like Alyssa Orosz, who teaches at Seventh Avenue School and coaches at Gurrie Middle School.

She really goes above and beyond in and out of the classroom. Gives out her personal phone number for parents to contact her whenever. She makes you and the kids feel like she is your friend. She takes the time to come to any kid event outside of school hours. The way she teaches makes kids want to learn more or do better for her.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is the type of teacher you and your child will forever have a core memory of. For all the best reasons.
