Sidewalk Work to Begin at Ogden Avenue and La Grange Road

Crews began work at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and La Grange Road for sidewalk replacement today.  The work will close the corner to pedestrian traffic for about a week, according to the . 

"It's something we wanted to repair while it's still warm out," said Ryan Gillingham, director of public works in La Grange.

Public Works expects the work will take about a week to complete. While work is being done, the village is encouraging residents to use caution at the intersection and to cross La Grange Road at Homestead Avenue, or another intersection.

Crew have also closed the right lane headed east on La Grange Road, which will contribute to some traffic delays, especially during heavier periods of use.
