Sisters of St. Joseph Teach Classes at Nazareth Academy
The sisters were welcomed in celebration of St. Joseph's Day.

La Grange Park, IL - In celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph on March 19, Nazareth Academy welcomed Sisters from the Congregation of St. Joseph as guest lecturers in a variety of classrooms on March 16-18. Sisters will teach in not only the Religion department, but English, Fine Arts, Foreign Language and Social Studies as well.
These guest lecturers focused on how subjects dovetail with the mission and charism of the Congregation of St. Joseph, the founders and primary sponsors of Nazareth Academy. Sr. Pat Bergen, CSJ ’63 welcomed these days as “a way to celebrate our partnership, to raise awareness of our shared mission and to learn more about each other.”
Nazareth’s principal, Mrs. Deborah Tracy adds, “The opportunity for our students to interact directly with the Sisters enhances their experience and serves to underscore where we come from and who we are. It is critical for our students to understand our CSJ roots, sponsorship and partnership. Faculty, staff and students alike are blessed in the presence of our Sisters and in the knowledge that they continue to make a strong and positive impact on us, our school, our community and our world.”
