St. Cletus Church's New Parish Center Under Way on 55th Street
A rapidly growing local church will soon have a new addition.

Construction is finally under way on a new space to accommodate a rapidly growing church that began its crusade to expansion about 12 years ago.
St. Cletus Church broke ground on a new parish center in July after receiving La Grange Village Board building plan approval earlier this year, according to a Pioneer Press report. The community includes more than 2,700 families and 430 schoolchildren.
Its "Living Our Faith, Building our Future" fundraising campaign brought in $3 million in donations.

" ... Now underway and visible along 55th Street in La Grange, the $4.2 million free standing parish center includes meeting space, offices and restrooms and a large gathering area for the parish, along with a new gymnasium and concession area for St. Cletus School students and for parish members to use for special games, leagues and events," the story said.
It should be done in June 2017.
