Storm Photos: La Grange Takes a Beating
La Grange, La Grange Park and everywhere else it seems, took quite a beating last night. Patch was out on the road documenting it all.
All through the night, public works crews in La Grange and La Grange Park were working tirelessly to clear the streets of branches and tree limbs.
According to Ryan Gillingham, director of public works for La Grange, crews were focused on clearing the streets and making sure no dangerous limbs were hanging from trees last night. Today, crews will begin collecting the debris from resident's front yards.
Julius Hansen, director of public works for La Grange Park, told me that the damage was not as bad as they expected when I saw him on the street surveying a felled tree limb. Still, he said he was expecting a long night ahead of him.

Patch went around last night snapping pics and documenting the clean up. But, the best part is you can share your own too! Just click the Add a Picture link under our photos and let us see what you were able to capture.
I got a lot of post-storm photos last night, but did anyone actually capture the storm and the wind? Now that would be a terrific photo!
