Upgrades In Works For La Grange Building
The downtown building was the site of a longtime business.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange is reviewing proposed facade improvements to a downtown building that is on the market for nearly $1.3 million.
The building is at 6 W. Burlington Ave., the longtime site of Ruby's Cleaners, which moved down the street.
Earlier this week, the village's Design Review Commission looked at the owner's proposal. No backup information was available on La Grange's website.

The 110-year-old building's second floor is an apartment, where the owner can fetch $3,400 a month in rent, according to the real estate advertisement.
The property's taxpayer is listed as GC Norwood LC. According to state records, Westmont resident Steven St. John is associated with that business. Patch could find no contact information for him.
