Western Springs Police Reports: Fraud, Bike Theft, DUI

Someone reported that a federal tax refund was fraudulently filed March 14 under her social security number.

Someone removed a bicycle from a garage between Feb. 23 and March 1 in the 4000 block of Howard Avenue.

Someone reported a federal tax return was fraudulently filed March 20 under her social security number.

Eric E Kraus, 43 of the 1100 block of Home Avenue in Oak Park, was stopped March 20 for speeding and showed signs of impairment at Ogden Avenue and Interstate 294. He submitted to field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI.
