Western Springs Police Reports: Theft, Exploitation, Suspended License
Western Springs Police Department provided crime and arrest information through Nov. 16.

Izabela Tur, 43 of the 7300 block of West Diversey in Elmwood Park, was arrested Nov. 9 at the Western Springs police station after an investigation confirmed she stole more than $300 in cash and gift cards while she working as a cleaning woman, according to Western Springs police. Tur was working at a home in the 3800 block of Wolf Road. The original crime took place Oct. 15 between 10:30 a.m. and noon.
Monserosa V. Santana, age 43 of the 2400 block of South Keeler Avenue in Chicago, was arrested Nov. 10 at the Western Springs police station and charged with a class 3 felony after a follow-up investigation confirmed her involvement in financial exploitation against a disabled person, according to Western Springs police. Santana served as a caretaker for that person, and police say she committed these alleged crimes from April 6 to June 11. She fraudulently made retail purchases totaling $305.50, police reported.

Filip Jeftic, age 26 of the 6900 block of North Sheridan Road in Chicago, was stopped Nov. 11 for speeding over the posted limit at 55th Street and Interstate 294, according to Western Springs police. A records check confirmed he was driving with a suspended license.
Luis Rioja-Saucedo, age 59 of the 2900 block of West 25th Place in Chicago, was stopped Nov. 12 for failing to yield at an intersection in the 4000 block of Woodland Avenue, according to Western Springs police. A records check confirmed he was driving without a license.
