Western Springs Police Reports: Theft, Underage Drinking

The information in the following reports is courtesy of the Western Springs Police Department.

Someone reported a person sleeping at 1:17 p.m. June 8 in the Village Club of Western Springs. When police arrived, the sleeping person ran away and escaped officers. Further investigation revealed alcoholic beverages had been taken from the club.

Someone reported a person entered her car between 6 and 6:30 p.m. June 11 and took her purse while the car was parked in a driveway in the 5400 block of Central Avenue.

Police were called to Springdale Park around 8:13 p.m. June 8 for reports of suspected juveniles drinking alcohol. Five juveniles were found in possession of alcoholic beverages and were arrested. The juveniles included two 17-year-old boys of Western Springs, two 16-year-old girls of La Grange and a 16-year-old girl of Willow Springs.
