Woman Hits Another On La Grange Train Platform: Police

The suspect had a "scrunched-in" face and was wearing "intense" makeup, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – A woman told La Grange police that another woman struck her on the train platform near La Grange Road.

Patch obtained the police report through a public records request.

In the early afternoon of Aug. 22, a 25-year-old woman said she was following another woman out of the train, according to the report.

When they got out, the other woman dropped a Starbucks cup on the platform and looked at the 25-year-old. The suspect then hit the woman, knocking her back, police said.

The woman then yelled profanities and walked off the platform, police said.

The 25-year-old woman described the suspect as older, about 140 pounds and 5 feet, with shoulder-length brown hair and long, drawn-out eyebrows. The suspect was said to be white, possibly Hispanic, wearing shorts and a white T-shirt, and carrying two bags printed with "Happy Birthday."

The woman also said the suspect appeared possibly homeless, had a "scrunched-in" face and was wearing "intense" makeup, according to the report.

The 25-year-old reported the incident the next day, saying she did not go to the police immediately because it was so shocking to her.

Police said the train station's video did not clearly show what happened.
