Traffic, Gas and Photos: Your Guide to New La Grange Patch Upgrades

La Grange Patch has some new really cool features that I wanted to tell you about. Hopefully, they'll help make your life easier and help you better share your life with us on Patch.

Traffic and Gas

First, I'm excited to tell you about our new Traffic and Gas feature on the site. Thanks to our friends over at MapQuest, you can now find an interactive traffic map and the area's cheapest gas prices on Patch. The traffic map shows you where there's road construction or accidents backing up traffic, so you can plan your best route to get where you need to go on time. Our gas price app gives you a list of the cheapest places in La Grange and La Grange Park to fill up your tank. I used it today to fill up and saved about 20 cents a gallon! Not bad.

Gallery

Second, I'm excited to tell you about the new Gallery tab on La Grange Patch. In the Gallery section of the website, you'll find it's super easy to share your photos with our readers, or to flip through our album for a snapshot of everything that makes living in La Grange great.

For example, let's say you're hosting a fundraiser or an event and had a local celebrity turn out—share it in our gallery. Or, maybe you took some great photos of kids under the stadium lights at Lyons Township or at a pickup game in Memorial Park—share them in our gallery!

Now, readers dont have to wait for us to write an article about it, you can share your stories directly through your photos. It's great!
