Five North Shore girls helped propel a local soccer team to its second national championship in two years. The <a href="http://www.eclipseselect.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Eclipse Select Soccer Club's</a> U-16 girls claimed the title at the Elite Clubs National League championship in Richmond, VA last week. Last year, they won the U-15 title. The local players are: Courtney Daugerdas of Libertyville Abby Dein of Glenview Hannah Marwede of Lake Forest, <a href="https://lakeforest.patch.com/groups/sports/p/lake-forest-soccer-player-commits-to-play-for-miami">who has committed to play at Miami</a> Zoe Redei of Highland Park, who has committed to play at North Carolina Lea Waddle of Lake Forest, <a href="https://lakeforest.patch.com/groups/sports/p/lake-forest-soccer-player-commits-to-vanderbilt">who has committed to play at Vanderbilt</a> Additionally, Marwede was named to the tournament's U-16 Best XI team, meaning she was one of the top players there.
