Bank Robber Uses Note In Heist Of Waukegan Fifth Third Bank: FBI

WAUKEGAN, IL — A man in a white hat used a note to rob a bank in Waukegan on Wednesday, according to the FBI.
An FBI spokesperson said the robber showed up at the Fifth Third Bank branch at 702 North Green Bay Road shortly before 4:45 p.m.
He showed a demand note to bank staff, who gave him an unspecified amount of cash before he fled on foot. The note implied the man had a handgun on him, according to the FBI.

The robber was described as a white man with a medium build. He wore a black long-sleeved shirt, dark pants and a white hat with a circular logo on it, according to photos released by the FBI.
