DUI Suspect Wanted on Warrant for Failing to Appear on Previous DUI Charge

Another man was arrested after police say he drove onto the sidewalk.

The following information is from the Lake Forest Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Pedro Aguilar-Bueno, 44, of Northfield, was stopped by an officer for swerving on Route 41 at Deerapth at 1:30 a.m. April 6. Police said he admitted to drinking and failed a field sobriety test. He was also found to be driving on a revoked license and was wanted on a Lake County warrant for failing to appear on a previous DUI charge.

He was taken into custody and police said he had a blood alcohol content of 0.153. He was charged with felondy DUI-alcohol, driving while license revoked, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured vehicle. Bond was set at $100,000.

Man arrested after driving over sidewalk

Ferruccio Perrelli, 62, of Highwood, was stopped by an officer and he was seen driving over a sidewalk at 3:30 p.m. April 5 at Western and Westminster. He was taken into custody when the officer learned he was driving on a revoked license. Perrelli was charged with felondy driving while license revoked due to previous convictions for the same offense. Bond was set at $1,000.
