A familiar face to Lake Forest High School soccer fans, 2009 graduate Rachel Quon is now a professional women's soccer player for the Chicago Red Stars.

The team's season opener against the Seattle Reign will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex in Lisle.

Quon, a Stanford University graduate, has joined the National Women's Soccer League, which includes an eight-team loop of top female players like Hope Solo (Seattle Reign), reported the Lake County News-Sun.
