Lake Bluff Man Arrested for Driving Under Influence of Alcohol and Drugs
A woman was also arrested for shoplifting six bottles of booze, police say.
DUI
An officer pulled over Dean H. Feley, 20, of the 300 block of Park Lane in Lake Bluff at Sheridan and Westminster, when he failed to stop at a stop sign. Police said he exhibited an odor of alcohol and failed field sobriety testing. Two open bottles of hard alcohol and painkillers were found. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a stop sign. He was released on $3,000 bond with a July 25 court date.

An officer stopped Sergio R. Dubon, 28, of the 18400 block of West Woodland Terrace in Gurnee, at Route 60 and Waukegan Road at 9:45 p.m. July 16 for not having a rear light. He was taken into custody when he was found to be driving on a revoked license. He was also waned on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court in 2010 on an arrest for criminal damage to property. He was cited for driving while license revoked and turned over to the Lake County Jail. He has an Aug. 19 court date.
Stolen booze

Officers responded to a store in the 800 block of North Western Avenue at 7:30 p.m. July 15 for a report of a shoplifter. Patience J. Cedzidlo, 29, of the 0-100 block of Treehouse Lane in Round Lake, was taken into custody when she was found to have taken six bottled of vodka and tequila without paying. She was charged with felony retail theft and held overnight before being taken to Lake County Jail for a bond hearing.
Domestic battery
Police responded to Lake Forest Hospital at 4:30 p.m. July 11 for a report of a man who had hit someone then left the building. Officers spoke to the victim and witnesses and later found Richard D. Veasy, 53, of the 1800 block of 16th Street in North Chicago, who was taken into custody. He was charged with domestic battery and driving while license suspended. He was held overnight before being transported to Lake Forest Jail for a bond hearing.
