If they win, they advance to the quarterfinals while a loss puts them in the consolation bracket. Championship round victories are worth two team points while a lower bracket win earns one point.

Brice Polender easily won his first two matches before falling in the third round to move into the fourth section of the consolation bracket tomorrow. A player in the lower section can eventually earn a fifth place medal while continuing to help his team’s standing.
