Welcome to The Episcopal Preschool -- a place known for its nurturing environment and broad, enriching curriculum. We have been serving the Lake Forest community for over 50 years and, today, are one of the most well-regarded early learning programs in the area. We offer a strong curriculum, a safe, nurturing environment and extended day enrichment programs to enhance early learning. Our mission is to develop each child to his or her fullest potential, spiritually, intellectually, and socially, so that each may grow in grace, enjoy freedom through knowledge, and lead a healthy, productive and meaningful life. EPS operates under the direction of Melanie Upfold and is overseen by the Preschool Board of Directors. It is licensed by the state of Illinois and is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools. EPS operates as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.

That is not the case in some other North Shore suburbs. Click through the images to see the annual salaries of elected officials in Evanston, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Northfield, Glencoe, Glenview, Northbrook, Highland Park and Deerfield. Evanston's mayor receives the highest salary at $19,380, while community leaders in Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Northfield, Glencoe and Deerfield don't get paid at all.
